1. Introduction

Fron ("we," "us," or "our") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect the information you provide when using the Fron Filter Master mobile application ("App").

This Policy complies with applicable United States privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) (15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq.), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) (where applicable). By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two types of information: Personal Information (information that identifies you) and Non-Personal Information (information that cannot identify you).

2.1 Personal Information

We may collect the following Personal Information only if you choose to provide it:

  • Contact Information: Email address (if you contact our customer support at fronguteghel87@zohomail.com or opt in to marketing communications).
  • Account Information: If you create an account (optional), we may collect a username or password (stored securely using encryption).
  • Photo Content: Photos you upload to the App for editing (we do not access or store your photos without your explicit action to upload them).

2.2 Non-Personal Information

We automatically collect Non-Personal Information to improve the App’s performance and user experience, including:

  • Device information (e.g., device model, operating system version, unique device identifier).
  • Usage data (e.g., features used, time spent on the App, filter preferences).
  • Technical data (e.g., IP address, network type, crash reports).

Non-Personal Information is aggregated and cannot be linked to any individual user.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the App’s core functionality (e.g., applying filters to your photos, saving edited content).
  • To improve the App (e.g., analyzing usage data to optimize features, fixing technical issues).
  • To respond to your inquiries (e.g., customer support requests sent to our email).
  • To send you updates (e.g., App feature announcements, privacy policy changes) – only if you opt in.
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., responding to subpoenas or government requests).

We will never sell your Personal Information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share Non-Personal Information (or de-identified Personal Information) with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., cloud storage providers, analytics tools). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may not use it for other purposes.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights of others.
  • Business Transfers: If we are acquired, merged, or sell all or part of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction (with prior notice to you, where required by law).

5. Your Privacy Rights (U.S. Users)

Under the CCPA, California users have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: Request access to the Personal Information we collect, use, or disclose about you.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your Personal Information (subject to exceptions, e.g., if we need the information to provide the App).
  • Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale of your Personal Information (we do not sell your information, but this right is reserved).
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights (e.g., charging higher fees or denying access to features).

To exercise these rights, contact us at fronguteghel87@zohomail.com with your full name, email address, and a clear description of your request. We will respond within 45 days (or extend by 45 days if necessary, with notice).

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, including:

  • Encryption of Personal Information (e.g., passwords, email addresses) in transit and at rest.
  • Access controls to limit who can view your information within our organization.
  • Regular security audits and updates to the App to address vulnerabilities.

While we strive to protect your information, no security measure is 100% effective. You are responsible for protecting your device and account credentials (e.g., not sharing passwords).

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information to us may contact us at fronguteghel87@zohomail.com to request deletion.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy and post the new version in the App. We will also notify you of material changes via email (if you provided your email address) or a pop-up notice in the App, at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
